Do you know how important it is to keep the litterbox clean?

Humans, our litterbox is one of our favorite places, and we need for it to always be in good condition so that we can use it as comfortably as possible. To do so, it must be clean and tidy, not smell of chemical products and have the best cat litter in the world. That’s just the way we are, and it’s not like we’re asking for the moon, right?

It’s true, call us fussy if you will, but if you love us and care about us, please just humor us a bit concerning this one thing tremendously important to us.

It’s really easy to tell whether or not we’re comfortable with our litterbox, as we’re not dumb and send out all types of signals. The most usual thing is your noticing some rather strange behavior on our part. That’s only to be expected, since I’ve told you that the place where we see to our needs is crucial for keeping us contented and has to be absolutely clean.

But, as I was saying, it’s quite easy to tell whether we are comfortable with the condition of our litterbox. If you see us go to our litterbox, do our business and cover it up without making any fuss, you have us quite pleased. On the contrary, if we hesitate and dig around before getting down to business, as if we are looking for a clean place, that’s a sign of our needing a change for the better in our private toilet.

Besides having clean litter in our litterbox, the litterbox must be located in the right place for us to be happy.  In other words, neither right in the middle of the living room nor hidden away in some hard-to-reach place. Private, fresh, well-lit places are ideal and are of great help to us getting our business done, besides keeping us much happier.

The material of which our litterbox is made is also very important. Some cats don’t like the feel of plastic. It’s not a question of being finicky, it’s just that some of us find touching plastic to be quite unpleasant.

Last but not least, the kind of litter you use for our litterbox is also important. You’ll find many kinds of cat litter on the market, and you’ll have to opt for one or another depending on our likes. I assure you that Sepicat will cover all your kitty’s needs … especially if you let your cat try the new Lightweight cat litters.
